Re: Recommendations for Computer and Mirror on TW2 USS, Joystick

Hi Velvetfoot (got a real name? :-) ).

WRT the computer, I agree it's a pain to push the buttons and read
but haven't found a better position.

WRT the mirror, Vision used to make a wonderful mirror for USS that
was a Mirrycle Mirror grafted onto a Minoura mount -- rock solid and
fairly easy to see. Vision is RIP but Calhoun is selling what
_looks_ to be the exact same thing:
http://www.calhouncycle.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?
idcategory=9&idproduct=7 (you might have to reassemble that URL if it
breaks in half).

I have mine mounted just below the left brake lever -- if you look
_very_ carefully you can just barely see it in the Photos section
under "Gary's mods > Full Suspension JS1 > Full Suspension JS1 (all)".

There's no excellent place to mount a mirror on USS but this works
pretty well. HTH.

Gary

I've tried the mirrors on the glasses before and I don't like them too much. Turning around to look for traffic is harder for me on the 'bent. ... joystick ...

Hi Victor. That's very good advice, however in my case cadence was the most important thing I was looking for -- even more so than speed. At that point the...
