Thanks for all the replies. I rode a Trice QNT today, very nice machine. Feels
quicker and sportier than I was expecting.

But.. The X has better components, and probably makes sense to start with the X
and see how I get on this summer before splashing out.

A Dutch group had developed an idler that would change the chainline to make up for pogo-ing. Few others have even complained about it. A 24T granny will help...
