Interested in converting to idlers from chain tubes on my HiRacer.
Noticed that you have some experience with conversion on your
MidRacer. Also saw your response at BROl to Steve (Fretmaster) on
the subject.

I was a little overwhelmed at the Kit price at Terracycle ($160 (+$20
for titanium) and $8 ship). Understand a person would need a toothed
idler on the drive side and a smooth idler for the return. What
brackets would I need? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
What was your total cost? Do you think the less expensive idlers are
close in quality? Do you have any way to measure your performance
increase?
