Hello all,
Starting tonight at 7pm we will be piloting our new fitness
program for those who really want to get in shape using the knightly
methods of old.
The fitness class is one-hour in length, every weeknight (mon - thur),
following which you can join into the regular class at the conclusion
of their warm-up. Fitness classes include a warm-up, dynamic
stretching, 40 minutes of circuit training that combines weapons-work
with core training (weapons include longsword, quarterstaff, and sword
and shield), and calisthenics.
The program has been designed to accommodated the fittest but has
capacity for anyone desiring to get fit to work their way up in
strength and endurance.
We are just developing the program now so it is in its testing stage.
Come out and help us build it further while building your own fitness.
