Belt Promotions: No testing was held since February 6th. Wayne
Krysowaty is preparing for his black belt test. Hopefully we will
have our second black belt promotion by May. The next regular
testing will be announced in class.

Business: A few of you still owe dues for February. Please pay ASAP
so I can settle the dojo's final bills. There will be a new fee
schedule for those of you who wish to continue your training under
my instruction (see below for details).
Please be sure that you have all of your equipment and gear. Be
sure to wash your uniforms before storing them otherwise they will
stain.

Upcoming Events: May 5th there will be the annual International
Taekwondo Tournament in Clark, SD. Competitors come from as far away
as Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico to compete. This is a big
tournament and it's sponsored by Master Sanchez of Clark TKD. I
plan on going and hope many of you will compete.

Dojo: I'm sure everyone is wondering what the plan is since the
dojo at 506 NE 1st Ave is now shut down. I made a commitment to
teach you and will continue to honor it. For now we will be
training at my house. You will need to bring your personal gear
(uniform, etc) along each time and I'm not going to store you stuff
at my house. My address and phone number are listed at the bottom
of the page.
For now we will have class once a week on Tuesday nights at 7 PM.
It will be a combined class, all ages and ranks. This summer things
may change. I will also be adjusting the fee accordingly. The new
fee schedule will be $50 a month per person, $25 each additional.
So for two people in the same family it will be $75 a month. I feel
this is fair as I still have a large debt created by the dojo that I
need to get paid off eventually. Anyone who paid quarterly will be
given credit for March dues.
Also, I will not be accepting any new students at this time.
After I rebuild my personal life I will focus on rebuilding the
dojo. I'm also currently looking into re-enlisting in the US Army.
My old unit (3rd Infantry Division) is on alert for its 5th
deployment to Iraq. It all depends on if I can get my knee problem
sorted out and okayed by the Army.

UFC 68: Uprising will be held March 3rd live on PPV. Tim Sylvia
will be fighting Randy Couture. Chris Lytle will be fighting Matt
Hughes. Rich Franklin will be fighting Jason MacDonald. Jason
Lambert will be fighting Renato Sobral.
