*** "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. Silas Young ***

For years AAW fans have wanted it. You would hear the people talking outside the
building before showtime. You would read it on messageboards. What if The
American Dragon came to AAW? What if Bryan Danielson wrestled under the lights
at the Berwyn Eagles Club? Who would he face? Who could hang with the man many
consider to be the best wrestler in the world? Now that time has come as AAW has
partnered with Dragon Gate USA to make this match a reality and Bryan Danielson
makes his debut and likely only appearance in AAW on September 5th.

Bryan Danielson is without a doubt the most decorated star on the indies today.
The ROH World Championship, the FIP World Championship, the PWG World
Championship, the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship, the list goes on and on.
Considered by many to be the best pure wrestler of our generation Danielson has
made a name for himself across the globe and earlier this week finally signed a
deal with World Wrestling Entertainment leaving just a few more opportunities to
see this tremendous athlete compete in an intimate setting such as the Eagles
Club. When it was announced that Dragon was coming to AAW many names were talked
about as an opponent but in the end it was agreed that the man that deserved
this opportunity most was Silas Young.

Silas Young for years has been considered one of the top workers in the midwest.
Technically skilled and tough as nails Silas captured the AAW Heritage title in
2007. Classic matches against Eric Priest, Jimmy Jacobs and "Mdogg 20" Matt
Cross cemented Young's spot amongst the elite of the AAW roster. In January 2008
Silas was offered a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment only to have it
snatched away weeks later. Silas came back even more determined and climbed the
ladder to an AAW Heavyweight Title shot against Tyler Black in November 2008.
After coming up short he engaged in a bitter feud with Josh Raymond and the
House of Truth. On September 5th Silas Young looks across the ring at Bryan
Danielson. Without a doubt the biggest match of his career and the match that
could define his legacy in the business.

Going into this match Silas is admittedly the underdog. A role he has been cast
in much of his career. One thing we have learned about Silas over the years is
that he will not be intimidated by Dragon's reputation and will look to work his
gameplan. Wrestling Bryan Danielson doesn't leave much room for error as he will
capitalize on the smallest of mistakes and have you tied up on the mat in the
blink of an eye. Both men have well rounded games with Danielson having the
advantage in submissions and striking while Silas may have a slight advantage
going to the air and taking chances and that is what Silas will have to do. To
defeat Danielson Silas will have to take chances.

Expect an electric atmosphere next Friday night at the Eagles Club as one of the
best in AAW takes on one of the best on the planet in what may be Silas Young's
defining moment.

*** Jigsaw/Gran Akuma/Hallowicked vs. Arik Cannon/Darin Corbin/Ryan Cruz ***

Next up on this stacked card is a six man tag pitting one of the most hated
stables in AAW against three of CHIKARA's finest when the AAW Heritage Champion
Arik Cannon and the Northstar Express take on Gran Akuma, Jigsaw and
Hallowicked.

Ever since their AAW debut in July of 2007 "The Anarchist" Arik Cannon and the
Northstar Express of Darin Corbin and Ryan Cruz have been a force to be reckoned
with. Cannon is the reigning Heritage Champion and is coming off a huge win over
Shane Hollister at this years "Scars and Stripes" in a Stairway to Hell match.
Corbin and Cruz are former two time AAW Tag Team champs and have been involved
in some of the most legendary matches in the companies history.

The CHIKARA trio bring international experience and some unorthodox offense to
the table. However, there is dissention within this team coming in as Gran Akuma
betrayed Mike Quackenbush and his CHIKARA brethren at Dragon Gate USA's "Enter
the Dragon" PPV and has aligned himself with Yamamoto. Akuma will team with
Yamamoto to take on Quack and Jigsaw on Sunday at the Dragon Gate USA show and
one has to wonder if he can coexist with his partners at AAW on Saturday night.

Expect a fast paced and action filled contest here as all six men look to make a
good showing with the eyes of the entire wrestling community on Chicago this
weekend. Cannon and the Northstars are undefeated in six man matches in AAW but
have never faced a challenge like this. Exciting action for sure in this one.

*** Johnny Gargano vs. Shiima Xiom ***

As if the card was not stacked enough here we have a one on one match between
two of the hottest prospects on the indies today. Shiima Xion at the age of 23
has already sharpened his skills across the globe. He is coming off a very
successful run down in Mexico for AAA and just returned to the states after a
tour in Japan. Johhny Gargano is a Cleveland area stand out who has been turning
heads on the independent scene recently winning the first FRAY! match in Dragon
Gate USA in Philly. Both of these men will compete Sunday in the FRAY! but will
first lock horns at AAW on Saturday. Both men have been in AAW before so they
know what to expect and both are looking for a big win here as they have both
signed on for more dates with the company. Look for innovative wrestling here as
these two arrogant youngsters look to make a statement during the biggest
wrestling weekend of the year.

*** AAW Tag Team Champions "The House of Truth" Josh Raymond & Christian Able
with Truth Martini vs. "The Young Bucks" Nick & Matt Jackson ***

A huge Tag Team Title match has been signed as Nick and Matt Jackson "The Young
Bucks" debut in AAW and receive an immediate title shot against "The House of
Truth." The Bucks have been tearing through the independent scene for the last
year in PWG, Dragon Gate (Japan) and ROH. At the Dragon Gate USA debut show in
Philly last month the Bucks chalked up an impressive win over CIMA and Susumu
Yokosuka in a contest that many are saying was the match of the night. The House
of Truth (Josh Raymond/Christian Able) are also steam rolling over competition
as of late as they won the "Fate of Eight" tournament and the AAW Tag Titles in
June. Last month they survived a brutal Double Dog Collar match against long
time rivals Silas Young and Dan Lawrence. Truth Martini's men are on a roll but
will be facing a big threat to the titles at Defining Moment "Us vs Them" as the
youngsters from Southern California look to add the AAW Tag Team Titles to their
already impressive resumes. This match has "show stealer" written all over it.

*** AAW Heavyweight Champion Jay Bradley has an open challenge! ***

Since returning from his time in WWE "Asskicker" Jay Bradley has been
unstoppable in AAW. He returned at the 5th Anniversary show in March and shocked
everyone when he aligned himself with Dave Prazak and captured the AAW
Heavyweight Title in the Final Four match. He then went on to defeat Colt
Cabana, Krotch and then Tyler Black at Scars and Stripes to solidify his title
reign. Last month Dave Prazak advised Bradley to stay in Tampa as he claimed
there were no real contenders available to take on the champion. He then went on
to throw out an open challenge for the 9/5 Defining Moment- "Us vs Them" show.
We can now confirm that Jay Bradley will be defending the title against a yet to
be named opponent. We can also confirm that in light of the events earlier this
week the AAW offices have been flooded with e-mails and phone calls from
wrestlers looking to come to AAW on 9/5 and challenge Bradley. Jim Lynam is now
in negotiations with several talents and someone will get a golden opportunity
next Saturday night in Berwyn. With the list of talent now available the
possibilities are endless and earlier this week Dave Prazak stated it doesn't
matter who the challenger is, Jay Bradley is ready for anyone.
