ALL AMERICAN WRESTLING
Back in Berywn THIS SATURDAY – 6/10!
------------------------------------

Event Preview by AAW's TenaciousP

This Saturday AAW returns to Berwyn for "Gold Rush- The Road to the
Titles". New AAW tag team champions will be crowned in a one night
tournament. The AAW Heavyweight Title will also be on the line in a
grudge match. Let's take a look at each team and also the big main
event.

AAW Heavyweight Championship

Tyler Black (c) w/ Jim Jesus
vs.
Marek Brave

A true grudge match in every sense of the word as these two former
partners will go one on one for the first time in AAW. Black and
Brave were life long friends who broke in the wrestling business
together to pursue their dreams. Both trained by Danny Daniels,
Black and Brave found great success as a tag team finally winning
the coveted AAW tag titles in March. When Marek Brave was injured
and could not compete in the "Final Four" that night Tyler Black
took his place. Black overcame three men and won the AAW Heavyweight
title only to turn on his friend and join Jim Jesus in JJ Inc. Marek
Brave was left a bloody mess that night and has since vowed he will
get his revenge. It is not about the title for Marek Brave but what
better way to hurt Tyler Black and JJ Inc then to take their prized
possession?

AAW TAG TEAM TITLE TOURNAMENT- Finals will be a three way dance.
There must be a winner in each contest. No draws, no byes.

ZERO/BAILEY MANNIX w/ JJ Drake & Brandi Glaze

Zero and Mannix are both tag team specialists (Mannix was part
of "Exxxplicit Content" and Zero a member of the "Void Effect") and
they have had success teaming in AAW. Both men are skilled
technicians but also aren't afraid to do what it takes to get ahead.
Drake and Brandi Glaze at ringside may give them even more of an
edge. This team has to be considered one of the favorites.

"GRINGO LOCO" TYME PAIGE/ CHARLIE MANSON Jr.

The lucha libre specialists have made a huge impact upon their
arrival in AAW. Manson Jr. has experience in Mexico working for the
AAA promotion and Tyme Paige is one of the most exciting young stars
AAW has ever seen. These one time foes have teamed up and are
defiantly the most high flying team in the tournament.

JIMMY JACOBS / ZACH GOWEN

Although we usually see him in singles action in AAW Jimmy Jacobs is
no stranger to tag team wrestling. He was at one time one half of
the ROH tag team champions. His partner is former WWE superstar and
fellow Michigan native Zach Gowen. The leader of Michigan Invasion
and the most controversial star in AAW history will join forces in
hopes of taking home the gold.

JAYSON REIGN / MARCO CORDOVA

One of the hottest tag teams in AAW, Reign and Cordova have amounted
a number of impressive wins in the past months. A severe injury has
kept Cordova out of action and though he may not be 100% teams would
be wise not to underestimate this talented duo.

THE MICHIGAN INVASION- TRUTH MARTINI & N8 MATTSON

The MII has been a forced to be reckoned with since their debut.
Martini & Mattson have gone through the competition by any means
necessary and don't seem to be slowing down. Remember the MII runs
in a pack. Many consider them to be the favorites in this tournament.

BRYCE BENJAMIN w/ Lucas / CJ OTIS

Another former tag team specialist, Bryce Benjamin hopes to capture
his first gold in AAW. Now a fan favorite Bryce has been one of the
most consistent wrestlers on the roster. He will team with CJ Otis,
a relative newcomer to AAW but not to the Midwest scene. Trained by
the legendary Sabu, Otis has some devastating high impact moves and
he makes this team definite contenders.

DANNY DANIELS / TRIK DAVIS w/ Dave Prazak

An interesting team for sure, Daniels and Trik are both coming off
big defeats last month. Daniels lost his AAW Heritage title to Silas
Young (thanks to Robert "Ego" Anthony) and Trik Davis suffered his
first loss in AAW to Marek Brave. Daniels and Davis are perhaps the
craftiest team entered.

RYAN BOZ / DAN LAWRENCE

Boz and Lawrence have been up and down the roads together many times
and have decided to join forces to go after the belts. Boz's
strength and Lawrence's agility may be the perfect mix for a one
night tournament such as this. This team will definitely be a fan
favorite.

ERIC PRIEST / CHANDLER McCLURE

Priest's alliance with High Society has been called in to question
as he did not show up to have their back last month and has now
chosen to team with JJ Inc's Chandler McClure. McClure is an Eric
Priest trainee and although they have never teamed in AAW they have
had success elsewhere as "Team Underground". A team such as this has
to be considered a favorite to win it all.

SAFARI STU EARLY / A MYSTERY PARTNER

Being a former tag team champ Stu was given an automatic bid into
this tournament. With Machine on the shelf who has Safari Stu chosen
to be his partner? There has been much speculation as many athletes
are chomping at the bit to get into this tournament. Will it be a
familiar face or another shocking debut? This team is defiantly the
wild card,

HIGH SOCIETY- WESTON BENTON & DEREK St. HOLMES

Benton and St Holmes were at one time top contenders for the tag
tiles. The last few months have not gone their way and there may be
some dissension between the mentor St Holmes and his pupil Weston
Benton. They are still dangerous and experienced as a team and
should not be taken lightly.

ACE STEEL / AAW HERITAGE CHAMPION SILAS YOUNG

Silas Young and Ace Steel will make a formidable team. Steel is an
experienced veteran and Silas Young just captured the Heritage
title. Two all around great athletes with similar styles and they
have an excellent chance of moving on in the tournament.

We also hope to learn more about the alliance between Jim Jesus and
Danny Daniels. Why are they so hell-bent on keeping Robert "Ego"
Anthony out of AAW?

All this and more this Saturday at the Eagles Club. The final build
up for AAW's biggest show of the year "Scars and Stripes" on July
15th. Anything can and will happen this Saturday. Do not miss this
show!

AAW- Professional Wrestling Redefined

Here are some news items from aawrestling.com going into this
weekend's show:

- 6/7/06 - The big question is who will Stu Early pick to be his
partner. Will it be the man that he captured the AAW Tag team Titles
with back in September, Machine? The last we have heard from Machine
was he was still nursing a back injury...Could he be ready to go or
will it be another AAW star? We know for sure that it must be
someone in AAW already as they are not allowing outside competitors
in the tournament...Stu definitely needs backup as Zach Gowen and
The Michigan Invasion have really been a thorn in his side...It was
the Michigan Invasion who originally took out Machine and cost them
the tag team title back on the March 25th show..Well all I can say
is you have to be there this Saturday night to find out........

- 6/7/06 - From what I have been told The Lady Thrillaz are pissed
off that they aren't in the tournament..Their gripe is that the loss
never should have counted as the illegal man, Krotch, tapped out.
They have stated that they will be in Berwyn this Saturday night to
confront Billy Whack, Reign / Marco, and " Magnum' Gary Havok who
seems to always cause a disturbance during their matches.

- 6/7/06 - We have not received word yet if Marco Cordova has been
medically cleared to wrestle...If you remember, Marco suffered a
broken shoulder socket on April 15th attempting a plancha over the
top rope. He has stated that he will be in the tournament no matter
what..The luck of the draw did not do his team any favors as they
drew the team of Jimmy Jacobs and Zach Gowen..Although they have not
teamed in AAW, Jacobs and Zach have teamed on many occasions
especially in their home state of Michigan...Could Jacobs be joining
The Michigan Invasion? It might be a good fit as he did break in the
business will all of the guys...Plus, Jacobs can't be pleased the
way his last match with Jerry Lynn went down....The Michigan
Invasion is well represented as Truth Martini and Nate Mattson take
on another Michigan native, CJ Otis, and Bryce Benjamin.. The
Michigan teams could possibly meet in the finals if everything goes
well..Now that would be interesting....

- 6/7/06 - Speaking of Gary Havok, what is his deal? We all know
that the competition to earn a spot is out of hand....If you can't
pull your weight and succeed, you're out....I don't think Havok
understands the word NO very well.....Billy Whack has continually
told him that there aren't any spots for him, yet Havok continues to
parade around in the crowd to get noticed....He has gone so far as
he has had people sign petitions and has even brought picket signs
that read " LET ME IN "...The weird thing is that the AAW fans are
starting to get behind him, and it can't hurt that he passes out
free beer..None the less, it's working with the crowd...Along with
Whack being aggravated. The Lady Thrillaz are also hot as Havok has
distracted them on more then one occasion which has led to their
defeat..Is The AAW CEO ever going to give in and let Havok wrestle
again? We'll soon find out..

- 6/7/06 - Jerry Lynn will face the winner of Black and Brave at
Scars and Stripes on July 15th in Berwyn.......

- 6/6/06 - This weekend's tag team tournament will have a slight
change to the rules. In every matchup, there will be a clear, cut
winner. So draws & countouts will be waived. The dq is still in
affect but only if a ref is struck. This is a new era in AAW and we
will do everything in our power to make the product different from
the rest.

- 6/6/06 - Another newcomer, Flash Flanagan, will debut on July 15th

- 6/6/06 - Could High Society be crumbling ? Trouble has been
brewing for months now, and matters didn't get better with Eric
Priest walking out on the team at the April show. And he was M.I.A.
at the last show. The Gold Standard has not returned any of AAW's
calls but we have heard from others that he will DEFINATELY be there
on Saturday night. And we have heard that the veteran of the team ,
Derek St. Holmes , is extremely disappointed with the youngster
Weston Benton. The former AAW Cruiserweight Champion has also looked
very annoyed with his mentor as of late. 2006 has been a very
disappointing year for a team that looked destined to wear the gold
in AAW. They failed to overthrough Machine/ Stu Early for the titles
earlier in the year and the team of Jayson Reign / Marco Cordova has
continually got the best of them. On June 10, this might be High
Society's final chance at winning the AAW Tag Team Titles. But
another 11 teams stand in their way.
