This Saturday, March 8th, AAW returns to the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309
26th Street) in Berwyn, IL for the 4th Anniversary show. Bell time is
7:30pm. Doors open at 6:45pm. First row is $15, and general admission
is just $12, and tickets will be available at the door. This will be
a special night full of all the action and surprises AAW fans have
become accustom to over the years. Let's take an in depth look at the
card.
AAW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE- THE FINAL FOUR
JERRY LYNN w/ Jim Jesus (c)
vs
AUSTIN ARIES
vs
JOSH ABERCROMBIE
vs
TBA
March 25th 2006- After the AAW Heavyweight Title is declared vacant
Tyler Black wins the first ever Final Four match in shocking fashion
and defeats three of the top contenders to begin his first title
reign.
March 10th 2007- Marek Brave outlasts Mdogg 20, Jerry Lynn and Tyler
Black in the second annual Final Four match cementing his position as
AAW Heavyweight champion in a classic match up.
March 8th 2008- AAW Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn comes into the
Final Four on the heels of a pinfall loss at the hands of Tyler Black
in a six man tag last month. Already qualified for the match are Josh
Abercrombie who also holds a pinfall victory over the champ and
international star Austin Aries who has recent wins over Silas Young
and Arik Cannon. The fourth wildcard spot will be filled earlier in
the night with the winner of a battle royal advancing to the main
event. Jim Jesus and JJ Inc cannot be happy about this match as the
odds are against the champion. Remember the Final Four is an
elimination style match where it will come down to two stars putting
it all on the line to walk out of the Eagles Club with belt Saturday
night.
AAW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
THE NORTHSTAR EXPRESS w/ Joey Eastman (c)
Ryan Cruz and Darrin Corbin
vs
ZACH GOWEN / KROTCH w/ Nikki
The tag team scene in AAW is as competitive as ever and this Saturday
The NSE with their manager Joey Eastman take on former champs Gowen
and Krotch. It's no secret that there is dissention in the ranks of
Joey Eastman worldwide as his other team the Phoenix Twins feel they
deserve a title match against their stable mates. Eastman promises
this situation will be worked out and the NSE will be victorious at
the anniversary show. Gowen and Krotch shocked the world once when
they won the belts. Can lightning strike twice this Saturday?
CHALLENGE MATCH
"The Gold Standard"
ERIC PRIEST
vs
"The Human Massacre"
KEITH WALKER
A fitting contest for the Anniversary show as two of the cornerstones
of AAW through the years lock horns once again. Priest and Walker are
no strangers to each other as they engaged in a main event feud back
in 2006 that produced a number of memorable moments. Alot has changed
in two years as this time the fans will be solidly behind "the Gold
Standard". Since returning to AAW Walker has not enjoyed the cheers
he once received and now he is more dangerous than ever. Priest is
coming off an historic run as Heritage champion and lost the belt
last month due to the interference of Chandler McClure. Priest has
said Chandler's days are numbered but he is focused on this huge
match where both men look to get back in the win column and back up
the rankings.
TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH
ADRENALINE OVERDOSE
Shane Hollister / Bryce Benjamin
vs
DANNY DANIELS / MAREK BRAVE w/ Jim Jesus
Adrenaline Overdose return as Bryce Benjamin makes his in ring return
after a shoulder injury kept him on the sidelines for half a year. In
that time Shane Hollister has developed a rivalry with JJ Inc that
comes to head this Saturday. As recently shown on AAWrestling.com
Daniels and Brave jumped Bryce outside the Eagles Club after last
months show and left him laying. This attack has only added fuel to
the fire as AOD will no doubt be amped up for this one. JJ Inc have
made it no secret they will test the surgically repaired shoulder of
Benjamin which may give them the advantage in this one.
CHANDLER McCLURE RETURNS TO THE RING
After seven months "The Miracle Man" is finally recovered from his
injuries and ready to compete once again. We saw McClure cost Eric
Priest the Heritage title last month. What does he have in store this
Saturday?
BERWYN STREET FIGHT
DAN LAWRENCE
vs
RYAN BOZ
This issue has been brewing for months and comes to a head Saturday
night in a no holds barred street fight. These two men were once
friends who traveled the roads together until Boz snapped and
violently attacked Lawrence. Most say Lawrence is at a disadvantage
in this match as he is giving up alot of size and strength to the
monstrous Boz. The Party Danimal has promised he will come into this
fight with everything he has and he will fight dirty if needs to.
Neither of these men are strangers to the Berwyn Street fight as they
stood together against the Michigan Invasion in this very same match
back in 2006. Now they look across the ring at each other and expect
this one to get out of hand in a hurry.
FINAL FOUR QUALIFIER- 20 MAN BATTLE ROYAL
The coveted fourth spot in the main event is on the line here in a
match that will feature the top 20 contenders. AAW officials have
already stated if the man who wins this match is already involved in
another match the card will be changed to keep the playing field as
even as possible. There will be no friends in this one as everyone
wants the chance to win the gold.

ARIK CANNON w/ Joey Eastman
THE PHOENIX TWINS w/ Joey Eastman
TRIK DAVIS w/ Dave Prazak
ABSOLUTE ANSWER

All this and MUCH more this Saturday night. You will not want to miss
what will be sure to have everyone talking as AAW celebrates it's 4th
