This Saturday 12/15 AAW ends 2007 in a big way as we present "One
Twisted Christmas". On the heels of the shocking events that went
down at the Windy City Classic last month, this show may very well
shape the future of the company as we head into 2008. Let's take a
look at this huge card!
AAW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
"THE MURDER CITY MACHINE GUNS" (c)
Chris Sabin/Alex Shelley
vs
"THE PHOENIX TWINS
Tweek/Dash
The two hottest teams in AAW will finally hook it up this Saturday
night at the Eagles Club. Tweek and Dash have been on a roll since
their classic TLC match against Adrenaline Overdose back in September
with wins over the Northstar Express and former champs DP Associates.
The Machine Guns have looked unstoppable during their title reign and
are considered by many to be one of the top tag teams in the business
today. Joey Eastman says Tweek and Dash are in the best shape of
their careers and now is their time to finally capture the tag
titles. Sabin and Shelley respect the Twins as a young up and coming
team but they are going to come at them with everything they have.
This is without a doubt the biggest match in the career of the
Phoenix Twins and they are looking to prove once and for all they
deserve to be at the top. Given the tag team expertise that these men
bring to the table there is no doubt this match will be an exciting
one that fans will be talking about for a long time to come.
4 CORNERS MATCH- WINNER RECIEVES FUTURE AAW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
ARIK CANNON
vs
CHRIS HERO
vs
TYLER BLACK
vs
JOSH ABERCROMBIE
Everyone in AAW has been buzzing since this huge match was announced
last week. Four of the best competitors to ever set foot in an AAW
ring will go to war with a future shot at the AAW Heavyweight title
on the line. All four men know each other well. Let's take a closer
look at each combatant.
Arik Cannon- Fresh off a successful tour of Japan with the Dragon
Gate promotion, Cannon returns stateside and finds himself in this
marquee match. Known as one of the hardest strikers in AAW Cannon
will be dangerous in a match up such as this.
Chris Hero- Hero returns to AAW for his first match in singles
competition and finds himself right in the title picture. An
excellent mat technician who can also brawl with the best of them,
Hero is the complete package. The unknown here is if Hero as aligned
himself with anyone in the AAW locker room.
Tyler Black- coming off a brutal "I Quit match" in November, Black
now has a volatile issue going with Jim Jesus, Danny Daniels and JJ
Inc. No one can doubt Black's heart after last month but will he be
able to focus on his opponents this Saturday?
Josh Abercrombie- the eccentric Abercrombie returns to AAW with new
focus and has promised to climb the ranks. A win here and the man
with the mostache sky rockets to the top of the contender list.
JAYSON REIGN
vs
JIMMY JACOBS
An interesting match up where both men have a lot to prove. Jacobs
wants another shot at Eric Priest and the AAW Heritage title. Jayson
Reign wants Jerry Lynn back in the ring for the Heavyweight crown.
Both men have proven themselves in AAW and this should be a very
competitive match. Reign had better have eyes in the back of his head
as it is well known Jimmy Jacobs always has back up.
CHALLENGE MATCH
SILAS YOUNG
vs
KROTCH w/ Nikki
Shockingly, the eternal underdog Krotch actually requested this
return match with Silas Young. Young snapped at the Windy City
Classic attacking Valerie Malone and Krotch's sister Nikki. Krotch
wants this match to teach Silas a lesson but as usual he is way over
matched. Silas Young is one of the most promising atheletes on the
roster and with his recent mean streak it may be a long night for the
fan favorite Krotch.
CHALLENGE MATCH
DANNY DANIELS w/ Jim Jesus
vs
SHANE HOLLISTERw/ Bryce Benjamin
Daniels has a lot of explaining to do after his shocking actions at
the Windy City Classic where he once again turned his back on the
fans and joined Jim Jesus. Daniels had an open contract for this show
which was answered by one of his former students Shane Hollister.
Hollister has had a big year in the tag team division but is an
underdog here. His injured tag team partner in AOD, Bryce Benjamin
has promised he will have Shane's back if JJ Inc gets involved in
this contest.
SIX MAN TAG
"SKULLKRUSHER" RASCHE BROWN and ABSOLUTE ANSWER (Caden Ames/Chris
Able)
vs
RYAN BOZ and THE NORTHSTAR EXPRESS (Darrin Corbin/Ryan Cruz)
Skullkrusher and Boz were involved in a wild pull apart brawl at the
Windy City Classic and both men requested a match against each other
for this Saturday. The AAW committee has chosen to make it more
interesting and told each man to chose a tag team to make this a six
man match. Boz will have Corbin and Cruz while Rasche Brown has
chosen AAW rookies of the year Absolute Answer.
