This is how i learned to do a tail whip. First I put my feet close
together at the end of your deck. Bend down, and then bunny hop at a
decent heights. Then hardly flick your feet backwards and whip the
deck around. Once it comes around, plant both feet on it and land
cleanly.

And yes, your left foot tends to not land on it, so for a while i was
doing some easy tail whip plants, where i put my foot down, flick the
deck with the other foot, and then practice my landing. It actually
helped
