Hi all,

Now that we have broken the ice with the community regarding location,
it is important that we keep the skatepark on the front burner of the
Park Advisory Commission (PAC). We need you to come and speak on why
it's important for Ann Arbor to build a skatepark, and why Veterans
Memorial Park is the appropriate location.

The public commentary is at the beginning of PAC meetings. Each
speaker signs up just before the meeting, and is allotted three
minutes to speak. You would not have to speak for the entire three
minutes, if you do not wish to.

With even a few people speaking at each meeting in favor of the
skatepark, it shows that we have community support.

The next meeting of the PAC is Tuesday, April 15, 4:00 at city hall.
May's meeting is on the 20th. PAC meetings are always on the third
Tuesday of the month.

Feel free to email me directly if you have questions. Also, let me
know if you will be speaking. If there are a lot of people who wish to
speak, we need to break it up into a few meetings.

Please please please consider doing this in support of the skatepark.
We all hate public speaking (well, actually, I don't mind making a
fool of myself in public), but if you're thinking that someone else
will do it, they are probably thinking the same thing!

Thanks for your support. Let's show our government officials that the
public wants a skatepark in Ann Arbor!
