Hi Skatepark Supporters,

The Ann Arbor Skatepark Action Committee has a couple events coming up
quickly.

The first is our February public meeting. This meeting is Monday, Feb.
18 at 6PM. It will be held at Clague middle school in Ann Arbor. We'll
update the public on the latest news about the skatepark, offer
stickers and t-shirts, serve up some refreshments, and we'll be giving
away a deck from Launch Board Shop. These public meetings are an easy
way for folks of all ages to come show their support for the project.

On Feb. 23, we have our next benefit concert. This concert will be ALL
AGES, and held at the Elbow Room in Ypsilanti from 4-8 PM. Several
local punk bands have offered their time and talents to help support
the A2skatepark. Cover charge is $8. Entry fee includes a door-prize
ticket. We'll be giving away many prizes from local skate-related
companies.

On another note, I just did an interview for Ann Arbor's 107.1. It
will air on the "Our Town" show on Sunday. So, um, set your alarm for
6AM so you can hear it. Yes, it's airing at 6:00 AM Sunday. You can
also catch the interview on WWWW 102.9 FM, WLBY 1290 AM, and WTKA 1050
AM. Don't worry if you're not an early riser, we'll have the interview
up on our website after it airs :-D
