Re: [YCPIOTB] Re: i love baseball

I'm with you. Baseball is just a beautiful game, no matter who is playing. I think both the Padres and Rockies should be commended for giving it their all last night. Not every game is a decisive blow, nor a pitcher's dual. Anything truly can happen. Besides, I love watching mid-market teams generate that level of intensity and excitement. Anyone who wouldn't trade the Sox offense of this season for what the Rockies have clearly hasn't been paying attention. Do the Rockies anyone BESIDES Jamey Carroll hitting under .285? GEEZ!!

and i don't know if it was a bad call. watch barretts foot lift and slide
back with hollidays hand.  and rockies were likely robbed of a homerun
earlier.  but none of it matters!  that's the beauty of it.
i didn't really care who won, but the intensity of the game was great.
the excitement was a one game play-off takes all.  a whole
season, done or extended in 9 (or 13) innings.

of course, through the year, i have gone to little league, high school and
college baseball games and womens fast pitch softball games.

because i love baseball.  !

Sorry but I thought it was boring. Both teams sucked to high hell and the umpire blew the call at the end to give the Rockies the win. However, the umpire...

On one hand I agree it doesn't matter because the winner of this game's season will be over in a week. But on the other hand it does matter because that was a...

They also play in homer happy Coors Field and against inferior NL pitching all season long. Both teams played terrible last night after the score was tied up....
