Yankee is hosting 3 scramble tournaments this spring and a clinic to help
promote and grow the sport of volleyball in New England.

Yankee Volleyball Association hosts scramble tournaments for new and existing
members in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Scramble tournaments
are full day events held to help grow Yankee's memberships and to give new
members an opportunity to get a taste of how a tournament is run and what to
expect. This year, Yankee will be holding scramble tournaments in Boston and
Rhode Island for both Men and Women at the intermediate level (C- to B- Yankee
Rating)
How it works? Players sign up as an individual and are placed on a team with
experienced and new players based on their position and Yankee ranking. All
participants will receive a numbered T-shirt and a full day of play for
$20/person.
All players need to be NERVA members and you can signup at the scramble or any
other Yankee tournament.

The format for scramble tournaments are similar to traditional tournaments
with a 9:00 a.m. start time, pool play and playoffs.

YANKEE CLINICS:
Clinics run for 2.5 hours and give players training and coaching in all aspects
of volleyball including passing, hitting, defense, blocking, setting, and
serving. The clinic will be run by collegiate and high school coaches and
organized to help teach individuals skills as well as team philosophies. The
cost is $10/pp and if you are new to Yankee and sign-up for a year long
membership at the clinic, your registration fee will go towards the cost of the
membership.

All participants will be receiving a numbered Yankee jersey.

We will accept new and existing members rated C- to C+
Space is limited and we will be accepting 40 men and 40 women per session.
