Dear Club members.
 
   I would like to get a pre-registration list posted for the Yadkin Open on the PDGA web site.  Like last year, only club members may reserve a spot in the Yadkin Open and pay the day of the tournament.  If you want to play, simply let me know your PDGA # and division.

I have a reason to go .......... left some personal items in Frannies vehicle, which Jamie drove Sunday. Jamie, JG, myself, and Shane went and played Mars Hill.
Initially, it was to be Doc, John, and me. But Shane called me while I was at work,
just to say hello and such, and I told him of the road trip. I guess his back problems had healed to the point that he wanted to venture out and give it a whirl, after a
4 to 5 month hiatus. Anyway, he called Jamie, and we went and picked him up for the journey. Also did a full round at Hickory on the way home.  It was really nice to hang out with Shane again. A super good  person, and friend.
 
But I do need to go and get my personal items if nothing else.  I had a rough day due to the heat yesterday, and left work early. I still feel awfully drained.  I had a heat stroke 2 years ago, and have not been able to tolerate the heat very well since,
So I'll see how I feel after work tomorrow, and make the call at that point. Boy, will I be glad when the cool winds of Autumn come blowin' in !   Summer, and this oppressive heat just flat sucks the big one. I hate it .............................

Just a reminder that Knotty Pines DG CC will host the Piedmont Random Doubles Tour on Thursday July 20.  If the ace pool does not get hit tonight at Swingin' DB's, it could be close to $300 for the event.

Plans are in order for the 2006 Yadkin Open.  I have posted a flyer
to this site.  We have secured some nice sponsors who are adding nearly
$500 in cash and prizes to the tournament.  We will have a custom stamp
disc for this years event, which every Am player will recieve upon
entry.  Special thanks goes to the hard working club members who have
been getting the tee pads in shape for the event.

We will have the bobcat with the bobcat out there to help us tomorrow.
