Chicago's World Naked Bike Ride 2008
is set for Saturday June 14th!

NEWBIES

For those that are new to the group and have never participated in
a WNBR, keep in mind you do not have to do anything to prepare
for the ride, you just have to wait till the gathering location is
announced the day of the ride. Stay tuned in for more info.

If you have never been on a large group bike ride in Chicago, you
should check out a Critical Mass ride (http://chicagocriticalmass.org).
I posted video of last month's Critical Mass ride, which includes a
brief clip of the Chicago's 2007 WNBR

EVERYONE ELSE

For those that know the routine, let me start by saying I have heard
you all loud and clear, "LAST YEAR'S RIDE WAS WAY TOO LONG!"
18.5 miles to be exact, my neighbor had a trip computer tracking
the distance from start to finish.

OK, we'll make it shorter. What else could we do better?
This Sunday we will be gathering at the site where last year's ride
began and ended to discuss how to make this year's
5th Anniversary WNBR mo' better.

We'll eat drink and discuss the following:
- Promoting the ride
- Finding a gathering space for 1000+ people, or
- Finding a few spaces close to each other
- Recruiting more artists for body painting
- Programming pre-ride entertainment
- Plotting our route
- Hauling musicians along for the ride
- Procuring a post-ride party space
