Race day is here and everybody are ready after having
hung out down here for several days kicking back on
the beach watching the waves pounding the shores.
A surfer got himself eliminated from the gene pool the
other day, a great white was spotted some distance
from here, and the unusually large swells have caused
worries about the currents, so the tri has been turned
into a du.
So, a short beach jog has replaced the swim, but it should
play out fine for us anyhow. The undulating rolling course
is enough to challenge most while it is nothing unusual
for us. The early sun is out and the temp is rising but we
are also used to handle that. The race start is next.
