Has anyone had any luck with any treatments for IT band syndrome? I went to an
orthopedist last fall who just suggested ibuprofen, a couple of stretches, and
cortisone shots. (Ehhh. Didn't really address the problem.) I've tried the foam
roller, too, which only helps a little. I already missed 1 marathon I trained
for due to this IT band stuff, and I don't want to miss another.
If anyone has found a (non-orthopedist) treatment provider who has effectively
treated IT band syndrome (or if you have other advice), please let me know!
