As moderator of our group I took two steps:
1. I banned those emails
2. I changed our group from an open to group to a restricted group.
All people who now join must be approved by me.

I was hoping I would not have to do this and I could keep this forum
open but I guess not. All legit folks can still join our group,but
now there is an extra step.
