RE: [WindsurferOD] Windsurfer One Design news - Corrected post

Hi Chris,
This all sounds good. The only thing to consider is whether there will be any wind in the morning. You could probably give the juniors etc to midday to make sure there is enough wind to sail.

Cheers
Christian

Sorry about the formatting problems in the earlier post. Here's
another try at putting up the nationals times.

Thursday 25th Jan - Registration 9 to 11am
Information session - 12 noon
Competition (freestyle/slalom) - 1pm to 5.30pm

Welcome barbecue/pizza night - 7 pm

Friday 26th Jan - Registration for latecomers 9 to 11 am
Information session - 12 noon
Competition (including marathon and junior/beginner mini marathon) 1pm
to 5.30pm

'70s beach party (marking 30th nationals since the first in '77) - 7pm
on the beach.

Saturday 27th Jan

Competition - 9.00-10.30 (Juniors and Beginners)
11am to 5.30 (main fleet)

Class meeting - 7 pm

Sunday 28th Jan

Competition - 9-10.30 (Juniors and Beginners)
11 am till 5.30pm (main fleet)

Presentation - 7 to midnight?

The format for Juniors and Beginners will remain flexible because it
depends so much on conditions and numbers and standard of entries.
There's nothing stopping keen Juniors or Beginners sailing with the
main fleet if they're not getting enough sailing, but it would also be
good if the rest of them did 90 minutes of racing and then just had
fun the rest of the day.

Chris
