Dash for Cash

The terrible weather on Saturday put a damper on Jess' Dash for Cash, but Jess
and her team still got some serious interest from the kids. The fleet had a
tough time in 25+ knots, with Annalise and some other juniors putting on brave
efforts. Stu sailed an excellent race to finish in the middle of the RSXs.

Thanks very much to Jess, Jannicke, the Balmoral sailing school team and all the
others who ran the event. It'll be back next season, bigger and better!


Batemens Bay this weekend?


This weekend's big event is the Batemans Bay regatta on the NSW South Coast -
the biggest mixed fleet off-the-beach regatta in NSW. It's a great weekend and
it would be great promotion to get boards out among the dinghies, cats and
trailable yachts.

I'm planning to head down and so are a couple of others, on Wallys and
Raceboards. Who else is interested?

need 5 boards to get a start. Raceboards and Wallies could compete on yardstick
but a class would obviously be better.
