Hi Chris,
I'd be interested in the caravan hire you mentioned. If you could provide
some details that would be great.
I like the idea of the sit-down meal. I think it would be best to have it
on the Saturday or Sunday and then just a quick presentation on the Monday
as some people will probably want to head off then. Maybe we could just
do the informal pizzas thing on the Monday after the presentation for
those that don't want to head off in a hurry.
With the pumping I think we should stick to the current system of no
pumping upwind and unlimited pumping downwind. I think it would be good
to have no pumping at the start as with the 30 second pumping rule the
less agressive sailors just get hammered by bad air, and just get left way
behind after 30 seconds. No pumping at the start would make things more
even and more enjoyable for those less agressive sailors.
The windsurfer class association sounds like a great idea. I'd be keen to
be involved.
I also think it could be a good idea to put together a calendar of all
Windsurfer One-Design racing planned for the season at all the different
locations.
Cheers,
Roger.
