Hi all -

Just a quick note that I've posted a couple of new photos which show
the training sail (4.5m) recently developed for Macquarie Uni club by
Neil Tasker from Barracouta Sails. This sail is also available in 3.5m
and is designed as a scaled-down version of the full Windsurfer sail.
We have tested them extensively and are really impressed with them -
they have great gust response, turn easily and can even get the board
planing upwind in around 12 knots of breeze. They are light years
better than the old pinhead trainers and we highly recommend them both
for beginners and kids.

Windsurfing NSW has agreed in principle to purchasing 3 of these sails
which we hope will be used to power a training fleet, so if anyone has
kids/friends who are interested, let us know!

Cheers,

Chris & Deb.
