ultimate start time is notoriously later than the posted time, so
i think the current noon start time is fine, with a caveat that play
usually starts by 12:15 when enough people show up.  if we change
the official start time to 12:15 then we may see play starting even
later, like at 12:30.  i did vote for the 12:15-1:15 timeframe since
that is how it usually ends up...

convenient.  The implication was that

not shorten play.  But it seems like we
need to clarify this a bit.

Folks, several people have been asking the same question over the
last week:  "Where IS everybody?"  Good question, considering that
we've been steadily getting only about 8-10 bodies out there in the
last month or two.  Some possible reasons have been offered:

1) They really DID take Tom Ridge seriously and are now duct taped in
their homes
2) They've fallen and they can't get up
3) They'd rather be bowling
4) Scott and Bob are grumpy old men

All of these are fairly sound reasons, but it makes for lame
ultimate!  We've had good turnouts during the previous winters, but
you have to wonder about this year.  So the question is, where have
you been, and are you going to start coming out again?  C'mon.  Sure,
you'll get your butt kicked for a little while, but you'll get to
like it  ;-)  You'll get taller/shorter/leaner/ripped....whatever you
desire.  Since I've been coming out I've noticed new hair sprouting
on my head.  And look at Scott!  Just look!  So let's use our new
online tools and get some talk going about this!

BTW--if the 12:00 start time is too hard for most to get out, I
suggest we take a vote and see if 12:30 works better for the majority
(seems like of the people coming out now, we don't show until at
least 12:15.)  Just a thought.
