We had record rainfall in the spring and the crops were about a month late
getting in because the fields were muddy. But the rain has continued regularly
in the summer so the crop is looking better and better. They've really taken
prices behind the woodshed in the past month. New crop corn went from $4.70+ to
below $3.30, while new crop beans went from $11 to below $9.
