Yo Nov,

You know I try to let this brother know what's up.  I told him to get with you too.  Its a damn shame cause he's either being victimized by his teacher or straight making shit up.  KRS-1 sums up my feelings about these videos at 2:35 in the second clip.  Yo the kappa is after I pointed some stuff out to him he was like , the white boys showed me love because they subscribed to my videos and you didn't, whats up with that?  Whateva man.  I'll pray for this brother.

LEARN THE YANG 24 SHORT FORM: LEARN IT ALL IN ONE DAY!

Instructor: Shifu Loretta Donnelly
Date: Sunday; October 14, 2007
Starting time: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM with a 1 hour lunch break ( bring a bagged
lunch).
Location: Internal Gardens School of Classical Taijiquan in Northern NJ
For directions to workshop, visit: www.InternalGardens.com
To register online visit: www.AmericanSocietyOfInternalArts.org and click on
"workshops"

For more info call 973-202-9409

******************

Shifu Loretta Donnelly is teaching the entire Yang 24 form in one day! This is a
great
refresher for those who know the form, a great introduction to those who study a
different
style or internal system, and the perfect foundation for those interested in
taking Dr. Gary
Torres' "Tai Chi Applications" workshop but have no tai chi background. The Yang
24 form
is one of the most widely taught forms in the country and will give you the
foundation to
study taiji almost anywhere. Best of all, with a schedule that rarely offers
Shifu Donnelly
the time to teach extensively in this format, this workshop offers a rare
opportunity to
study with an expert instructor from the lineage of Jou Tsung Hwa. Those who
register for
both this and the taiji applications workshop (below) may register for the Yang
24 form
workshop for the discounted price of just $50.

******************

Traditional taijiquan forms can take months - even up to a year or more - to
learn. But
if you want to learn a complete taijiquan form right away, HERE is a workshop to
give you
that opportunity in ONE day.

Created in the 1950's in China, the Yang 24 Short Form takes the most common
postures of the Traditional Yang Family Long Form taijiquan, and presents them
in a very-
easy-to-learn arrangement. Yang Short Form is fast becoming the most popular tai
chi
form in the world today - and unlike many other "short forms," it is FULLY
recognized by
China's government. This is the form that is most often taught in adult-ed
programs,
community centers and senior citizen's programs. By at least knowing this tai
chi form,
you'll know enough taijiquan for taking further workshops in taiji for health OR
martial
arts application.

Why learn Yang 24 Short Form?

     * As it's the most popular form, you're sure to come across it where tai chi
is taught-
seminars, tournaments, other tai chi schools, and community tai chi programs. Be
in the
know.

     * It's easy and short - even the BUSIEST person can find the time to learn
it and enjoy it!

     * Makes studying the Yang Family Traditional Long Form much easier.

     * You get to learn a whole taijiquan form in just a few hours, instead of
months or
years.

Why take a Yang 24 Short Form tai chi workshop with Shifu Donnelly?

     * You'll be learning from a teacher with 17+ years teaching experience,
whose specialty
is breaking things down for you to easily understand. Your teacher, Shifu
Loretta Donnelly,
is experienced teaching in both the tai chi world, and in academia, both to
"left-brain
dominant" learners, and "right-brain dominant" learners.

     * You'll learn relatively unknown visualization techniques to supercharge
your memory
and speed up your learning of the movements.

     * You'll get a FREE detailed booklet, complete with written instructions and
diagrams of
each posture of the Yang 24 Short Form.

     * The Daoist guan (studio) of Internal Gardens is in a quiet, peaceful
location, fully
carpeted, fully mirrored, clean, and climate controlled for your comfort.
Complimentary
spring water, tea and coffee is always available for you to enjoy.

     * No matter what your level of physical fitness or prior experience,
everyone is treated
with equal importance, respect, and shown how to uniquely adapt the taiji to
their body.

     * You'll receive a certificate of completion, suitable for framing.

AND... If you register now for Dr. Torres' Tai Chi Chuan (taijiquan)
Applications
workshop, held October 20-21, 2007 at Internal Gardens, then you can take Shifu
Donnelly's Yang 24 Short Form workshop on Sunday October 14 for the deeply
discounted
price of $50! This time-limited offer EXPIRES October 13.

PRE-REGISTRATION (To 10/13/07)

WALK-IN REGISTRATION

PRE-REGISTRATION FOR THOSE ALSO REGISTERING FOR DR. TORRES "TAI CHI
APPLICATIONS" WORKSHOP: $50 (EXPIRES OCTOBER 13!)

TAI CHI APPLICATIONS: KEY TO TAI CHI POWER (PART 1)

Instructor: Dr. Gary Torres
Date: October 20 - 21, 2007
Starting time: 12:00 PM Saturday / 9:00 AM Sunday
Location: Internal Gardens School of Classical Taijiquan in Northern N.J.
For directions to workshop, visit: www.InternalGardens.com
To register online visit: www.AmericanSocietyOfInternalArts.org and click on

For more info call 973-202-9409

******************

Those of you who have attended a workshop with Dr. Torres know the amazing
scope
of his kungfu knowledge. To date, however, he has simply been warming up. In his
upcoming October workshop Dr. Torres plans to, quote, "show folks how deep the
taiji
rabbit hole actually goes," with this first of two workshop weekends teaching
the awesome
applications of classical taiji. This weekend will include applications from the
four corners
and four directions of push hands - fixed and moving. This will be followed by
applications from the Yang san shou, the "applications blue print" of taiji.
According to Dr.
Torres, this workshop will be going well beyond the common apps that everyone
knows,
exploring little known uses of some of the most obscure postures. This workshop
will be
followed by part 2 in Spring of 2008, where Dr. Torres will be taking the
applications
taught this year, to the next step, showing how to use the applications in
street combat
and self defense situations. If you ever wished you could expand your taiji
knowledge to
entirely new levels, this may be your best chance. This is one workshop you do
not want to
miss!

******************

Millions of people across the country do their tai chi form unaware of the
meaning of
the movements. This has helped earned tai chi the label "gentle Chinese
exercise," a name
which does great disservice to this once great martial art. Locked inside every
tai chi form
are applications, combat techniques designed to put the tai chi energies into
context.
Without this knowledge, tai chi form is little more than an empty book filled
with blank
pages. With this knowledge, it is your key to unlocking the formidible power
within.

In this two-day workshop (weekend "one" of a two weekend program - weekend
"two"
in spring of 2008), Dr. Gary Torres, head of the legendary Kwok kungfu lineage,
will teach
you the tai chi applications of the Yang style form, one of the most widely
practiced forms
in the world. You will learn how to deliver your applications with peng jing,
the expansive
power which is the hallmark of tai chi chuan. Practicing with others, you will
get the feel of
how each application works, both as a stand-alone technique and as it applies to
push
hands -- the precursor to actual tai chi sparring. Most importantly, as nearly
every tai chi
form shares postures with the Yang style, nearly all tai chi players will
benefit from the
training in this workshop.

Join Dr. Gary Torrres, one of the top internal Chinese martial art
grandmasters in the
country as he presents you with the words to fill the empty pages, the
techniques in your
style, the key to your own tai chi power!

CREATING AN IRON BODY: ART OF THE STONE WARRIOR

******************

This workshop has been generating a lot of excitement and we are thrilled to be
the first
to host Shifu Dale Dugas in New Jersey, tri-state area. Iron body and iron vest
training is
about as traditional as traditional kungfu gets. In many schools, this training
is held back,
reserved for only the top students or as the advanced training for black belts
and sashes.
For 15 years Shifu Dugas has been studying and teaching these ancient practices,
designed to harden the bones in your hand so they strike like sledgehammers, and
to
develop a protective covering of your torso to increase your ability to sustain
blows. At the
same time, applying his medical background, Shifu Dugas has developed ways to
use this
training to help folks combat bone ailments like osteoporsis. With a reputation
for
teaching this system in a "safe, sane, non-destructive manner," Shifu Dugas will
be
teaching a program that anyone, from beginner to advanced, can use and enjoy.

******************

Iron body training, which consists of iron palm training and iron vest
training
(sometimes called golden bell training), is an ancient practice of Chinese
martial arts
masters, developed to increase the body's ability to withstand physical trauma
and give
the hands and fists the ability to deliver devastating blows. The training takes
advantage
of the human body's response to specialized conditioning work designed to make
the
bones harder and the flesh more resilient. There are both internal and external
versions of
this training, right ways and wrong ways of performing the gong. Performed
incorrectly,
this training can cause longterm permanent damage to hands and body. Performed
correctly, it will transform you into an iron body martial artist, strengthening
your body
without damaging it and increasing your striking power.

In this workshop, Shifu Dale Dugas of Coiling Dragon Internal Arts will
teach you
everything you need to know to become a stone warrior. You will learn the proper
way to
perform several different methods of both internal and external iron palm and
body
training. The weekend will break down as follows, with Saturday focused on iron
palm and
forearms training, proper usage of dit da jow, etc., and Sunday you will learn a
"24
exercise" qigong system for strengthening fascia, together with techniques for
strengthening the rib cage.

Join Shifu Dale Dugas as you learn the training techniques that will give
you a body of
iron and fists of steel in a SAFE and SANE manner that will allow you to retain
your
flexibility, dexterity and skin like a baby's bottom. DVD's will be available
for sale after the
workshop, covering everything you'll learn in the workshop. The registration
price
INCLUDES an 8 oz bottle of custom "dit da jow" liniment for each person, a $25
value!

==============================================
Turbulence Training for Fat Loss

Brought to you by Craig Ballantyne &
http://kirkhamsebooks.com/HealthNFitness/TurbulenceFatLoss.html

============================================

Who else is busting their butt in the gym and not getting the
results they deserve?

Almost everyone, I know, I know.

Listen, you have to fix your nutrition. No more foods from a bag or
a box. Switch over to more fruits and vegetables.

Now I know you're not just going to wake up and eat 10 servings of
vegetables tomorrow. Besides, your stomach and co-workers wouldn't
appreciate it.

But you have to make little changes every day, week, month & year.
We can always get better. So this weekend, start with one new item
from the produce aisle to help control your appetite, regulate your
blood sugar, and burn body fat.

If you want to lose fat, live longer & healthier, and have more
mental and physical energy to get through your day, you need to put
premium fuel in your body's engine.

Not grease. Not sugar. Not quick fixes. You have to plan ahead. But
don't worry, it doesn't take much time.

Start by eating several small meals each day, focusing on protein
and fiber-rich foods.

Combine that with the short, convenient Turbulence Training
workouts and you'll feel like a million bucks.

We are all a work in progress, so never give up on your ability to
change your body at any age. Nutrition & exercise are as powerful as
the drugs your doctors are handing out.

So fight back against aging and body fat naturally.

Sincerely,

Craig Ballantyne, CSCS, MS
Author, Turbulence Training

PS. How fast can you change your body with TT nutrition?

"Craig, thanks to the TT Nutrition guidelines, I woke up the next
morning and already saw improvement in my whole body! Unbelievable.
I can hardly wait to see my physique after 2 weeks of Turbulence
Training."
Arthur Capone, NY

"At mid-life, pushing 300 pounds, and highly skeptical of
quick-fixes, I learned of Turbulence Training and decided it was a
program which made sense. It's about hard work, sensible eating,
and getting stronger. In less than an hour, 3 to 4 times per
week, the workouts are manageable on a busy schedule. It produced
not only weight loss of close to 60 pounds; my strength increased
rather dramatically. I have recommended the program to many men who
are seeking an efficient, yet demanding, program for fitness and
healthy eating."

 Hi Sensei Richard,

THat is a good way of closing the gap. I had recently been challenged , and fought, a TKD teenager. Fast legs, and good kicks.
BUT... on his advancing with a kick from his rear, I stepped in and performed Gum Sao which is a pressing/snapping/ pinning hand
into his knee while closing the gap. THrew him off totally, and at the same time I landed a punch to his face while he tried to counter with a hook.
Closing the gap is foremost in Wing Chun. If one's footwork is terrible, the hands will not have thepower to redirect effectively, and pin effectively.

 Peace and Blessings,

Jamming Kwik Sparring Tip

I sparred a man recently who was very fast and kicks harder than anyone I'd met in a long time. When he shifted his weight to his rear leg, especially when he moved his feet closer together, I raised my rear knee and used the momentum to slide forward at the same time. This had the effect of jamming his kick before he could develop any power. Be sure to keep both hands up as you do this since your lower body is being protected by your leg.

See my article on sparring for some sparring variations

I sparred a man recently who was very fast and kicks harder than anyone I'd met in a long time. When he shifted his weight to his rear leg, especially when he moved his feet closer together, I raised my rear knee and used the momentum to slide forward at the same time. This had the effect of jamming his kick before he could develop any power. Be sure to keep both hands up as you do this since your lower body is being protected by your leg.

Hope everyone was okay after the challenge
I've also jammed kicks by moving my hip slightly up and forward and unoficially with my ribs by tensing the intercostals breathing out and moving in on the kick

 Hi Sensei Richard,

THat is a good way of closing the gap. I had recently been challenged , and fought, a TKD teenager. Fast legs, and good kicks.
BUT... on his advancing with a kick from his rear, I stepped in and performed Gum Sao which is a pressing/snapping/pinning hand
into his knee while closing the gap. THrew him off totally, and at the same time I landed a punch to his face while he tried to counter with a hook.
Closing the gap is foremost in Wing Chun. If one's footwork is terrible, the hands will not have thepower to redirect effectively, and pin effectively.

 Peace and Blessings,
 Lin
