Re: [WW_WCKF] No Mistakes

Good points Aiwei,

It is nice to read such article. Indeed you have to make mistakes to understand what the correct path is. I am sure that you cannot learn without making mistakes. Although you can learn from previous made mistakes by other people. Like your coaches in life. These coaches are your parents, your sifu's, friends, history and of course yourself.

I admire you, you probably wonder off into the mountains to train today. Wish you luck.

Greetings,

Martijn.

There are no mistakes in this world. No matter what
we do that gives an outcome of undesired results, it
is stil not a mistake.
Much has been said that when you learn from your
mistakes, you succeed.
What if we never made mistakes? My meaning is, what
if we perceive everything we do as something that
progresses ..something that pushes us forward?
A mistake is seen as something that causes
"disharmony" something that creates an outcome of
dissatisfaction.
In Wing Chun, a misaligned position is a mistake of
movement. This, inturn, causes one to be hit by
another, and or use excessive force when not needed.
Yet, a wrong position leads one to realize something
more about themselves. SOmething they did not realize
before. Perhaps it is how to perform "correctly",
perhaps it is how to use less force and have a bigger
outcome.
Either way, what ever was performed, which is not
according to what is, is still according to what has
happened. Therefore, an outcome of enlightenment in
any manner will manifest.
How?
If one perceives all action as an action, or
manifestation created by themselves, mthe idea of
being wrong will disappear. THen inturn so will the
idea of being right.
WHy is this important? Nature, and WIng CHun, tell us
that excessive produces more extreme. How to be
without excess is how to be with just enough. Neither
is correct, neither is incorrect. It just is.
The outcome of this is the ability to change, and
manifest no change. At this level of existence, an
outward expression of peace will manifest. THere no
longer remains an inside and an outside.

Peace,
Lin Ai Wei
