• Attached is the Academic All American nomination form.  The form is due April 16th to Jessica Hardy (WDIA Recognition Chair).  When submitting a nomination you must include the nomination form AND a copy of an unofficial transcript.

• Keep in mind that Academic nominations are different to regular WDIA All-American nominations.   Regular WDIA All-American nominations, WDIA Coach of the Year nominations all run through our regional coordinator (Drew Whyte - drewwhyte@...).  Drew packages all WWLL - WDIA nominations and send them to the national coordinator.  You can download all of the docs for WDIA recognition items on the WDIA website, click on the committee tab on the left.  If you have questions, talk to Drew.

 

• Be sure to be checking the WDIA Calendar on the WDIA website.  There is a lot of upcoming deadlines that you should be on top of if you are sending nominations from your team

 

• FYI, about 20+ teams within the WDIA did not turn in their WDIA roster eligibility form by the required deadline of March 2nd.  All of these team were ruled INELIGIBLE for nationals.  Again, this is just a reminder of how important it is for teams to be on top of deadlines such as roster deadlines, dues deadlines, application deadlines and late fee deadlines.  Anyone of them can be painful if you are late.
