Please note that this poll does not necessarily determine play-off spots.  The top two teams in each of the three D1 regions get an automatic bid to play-offs, leaving two at-large spots that come from all three regions.  Similarly, for D2, each region gets 1 automatic bid and there are two at-large spots. Head to head results among at-large candidates count far more than this poll when teams are selected.  This poll does, however, reflect possible seedings once teams are selected for each of the two play-off divisions.

Dear Paul; I do not understand the intelligence behind taking the top two teams from each league. I would think that we would want the best 8 teams to compete...
