Last Tuesday Gina skipped out on us with excuses of the Flu so John
came to the rescue and took us on a grand tour of the construction
areas of Morgantown. We also had to cross some white water rapids
where we lost about half the women in the group. We think they got
washed into the Mon but we had to continue looking for the trail.
Gina has promised to make her lady friendly trail next month before
Charlie finishes classes so that all the women in the group will
feel welcome!
This Tuesday (75 degree weather predicted) we'll be going from
Frankie's in Fairmont. Jack is supposed to hare, but questions of
his health might make this not possible. We'll see if he takes
responsibility and recruits a replacement and helps out with hiding
the BN or what. Frankie's Supper Club is easy to get to off the
downtown Fairmont exit of I-79. Head towards Chevron off the exit
ramp and when you get to the light turn left which will take you
between McDonalds and Wendy's. You'll come to the nest light between
Dominoes and Subway and you'll want to make a right here. Frankie's
is about a mile or so down the road on the left. Just a little past
the VFW. Parking is a little tight, but there are some other streets
nearby too. Plus we're back into normal light! So no more flashers
and flash lights!
Now on to future big events!
Our camping trip is set. If you said you are going, you need to pay!
It's this month. April 22-24th at Cacapon. It'll be the first ever
West Virginia Interhash. We've got various hash groups coming from
all over and looks like it's going to be a fun filled weekend.
There's still room for you too!
We're having our 2,500th hash on May 17th from McAteers in Fairmont.
Hold this date open and be sure to be ready to have some fun. This
will be at 6:00 and we want it to be huge. We're planning on getting
t-shirts and other goodies. Plus we always get a great buffet at
McAteers of all kinds of pasta. Still not sure how we'll do paying
for the event. So send in your opinions weather you want to do
everything separate prices (t-shirts, BN, meal, goodies) or just one
price gets all. We've got Frank and John planning out a grand course
which will be filled with false trails and also be friendly for
walkers in the group.
Until our next circle time,
ON – ON!!!!
