Last Tuesday Frank led us on a fun tour of Fairmont and spread the
pack to all corners of the city while also taunting hounds along the
way. Fun! Thursday Jack took the snow hashers for a snow chase.
After all the hounds got back a free for all snowball battle took
place where the Giant Eagle parking lot turned into a war zone!
Speaking of war zones, we'll be having our Pudder's Back Hash Bash
on March 8th from Sport's Garden in Fairmont. Be sure to come out
and welcome Rodney back properly and thank him for his service.
For this Tuesday though, we received the following challenge from
John for Tuesday's hash:
"Fellow hashers,
I think we all need to give a large kudos (applaud) to Linda Keeler
on her efforts over the last couple months to get runners out. Last
night (15 Feb at Fish bowl), she had 4 friends and fellow hashers
out. Let's imagine if we could all produce this type of effort. I
propose a challenge to all for the Crocket"s Hash on March 2st to
bring at least a newbie or a hash wirgin. A wirgin is someone that
has not done a hash in over 6 months. Possibly award a prize to the
one who brings the most or in Hash terms `Makes the most come'!"
I've heard that the prize could be anything from a free trip to the
gum ball machine to a Hummer! So be sure to get out and do your
part. John will be leading us from Crocket's in Morgantown. This is
along the main drag in Star City just down from the Fire Department.
If you're coming from Fairmont take the Star City exit off of I-79.
After you cross the Star City Bridge turn left at the light. You'll
turn right at the stop sign and it's around a mile on the right.
Parking is easiest in the lot across the street. At out last
Morgantown Hash we had a good circle where everyone told their name
and favorite drink of choice. Be ready for this week's question from
our hare before he heads out on the trail!
Now on to future big events!
Our camping trip is set. We have two Bungalows paid for, but only
three people to turn in their money!! So… be sure to pay up so we
don't go broke.
Also, we have started planning our 2,500th hash for May 17th in
Fairmont. If you would like to help with the planning let us know.
We're going to have it at special place and get t-shirts and
everything. So, hold this date open and be sure to be ready to have
some fun.
Until our next circle time,
ON – ON!!!!
