WOW what a Hash! 23 runners and 2 hares traveled the trails at Coopers Rock
for at least 10 miles with a turkey trail that broke off around 5 miles. The
only problems that occurred along the way was that 3 hounds took the wrong trail
at Henry Clay Furnace and ended up on I-68, so they had a few extra miles.
Another hound took a short cut and stirred up a rattlesnake den, lucky he was
moving fast! John stirred up some hornets, I wont say where he got stung! The
Beer near had, not beer and water, but fully stocked with Corona and Gatorade,
and even a bottle of Crown Royal for those really in pain.
A special thanks go to John and Bret, who, instead of bringing hot dogs
and burgers, brought barbque ribs and corn on the cob! there was other goodies
like brownies, chips, cole slaw and bunches of other food, way too much to
eat.
Thanks Charlie for a GREAT hash! Next year will be even bigger and
better.
