If memory serves Mr Servaes, you have neither been "sanctioned" by
Vincent Cabales Sr. or been asked to speak for the Cabales family in
any way.

I have indeed met new friends, compatriots and "family" at our
gathering to commemorate the Great Grandmaster Angel Cabales. All
of whom I will say are fine individuals regardless of where their
alliances may be and regardless under whose auspises they speak.

Yourself, however, I cannot include in the afforementioned group.
The members here in may ask "Why?"; simply put you were not a
presence at the commemoration and banquet. When Vincent Cabales Sr.
and Vincent Cabales Jr., Wade Williams, Carlito Bonjoc, Ben Pagtanac
and others arrived, you were not there. You were not there to show
support for the youngest of Vincent Cabales' siblings and their
mother ... Gelmar, MaryGel and MaryTess respectively.

For someone who wishes to honor tradition, the art and family of the
art of Cabales Serrada Escrima, you were no where to be found ... at
least not near the celebration itself. Interesting, isn't it, that
someone, who has claimed to be a supporter of Vincent Cabales Sr.
and his representation of Cabales Serrada Escrima, was not there to
share this event.

Again, you've chosen to take issue with the "inheritance" of both
the art of Cabales Serrada Escrima as well as the title of
Grandmaster. Why would you not find that equal inheritance should
then belong to let's say perhaps a GM Gelmar Cabales, GM MaryGel
Cabales as well and would you muster your support behind these
titles as well???

These are the things that make me go HMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

All this asside, my words are not as eloquent as GM Anthony Davis of

Mr. Servaes it has become quite clear and apparent to me that you
are representing yourself as a lone ranger. I've spoken directly
with Vincent Cabales Jr. concerning where you stand in terms of his
and his father's organization, and what it appears to boil down to
is; you dont have any current standing, status, endorsement or
official acknowledged rank in the art of Serrada Escrima as taught
by these two gentlemen. Essentially, you are operating without a
license and therefore you are representing the art of Serrada
Escrima without official permission to do so. Additionally, in the
past you have been one of the primary people responsible for much of
the negative controversy that surrounds the art of Serrada Escrima.
Your pre-meditative acts of agitation within the arena of Serrada
Escrima will be tolerated no more by myself; nor by others who truly
do represent the pristine legacy of the late Great Grandmaster Angel
Cabales. I suggest that you re-read my " Declaration Of Independence
letter " recently published in the (FMAdigest Vol.3 No. 2, 2006
issue). I find it ironic that the only person who appears to be semi
negative and complaintive about the recent 2006 Angel Cabales
Commemoration Seminar/Banquet, is you. Also, I dont recall your
presence at this illustrious event. You constantly talk about
martial truth; but yet you have been the main instigator that has
spread outright "untruths" about several of GGM Angel Cabales'
private graduate instructors. Have you forgotten so quickly how
close you recently came to a highly possible major physical
altercation with the son of one of the people whom you have been co-
bashing in your former " Serrada Truth " campaigns?
It is obvious that everyone that attended our event put aside all of
their personal disgruntlements in order to recognize the founder of
the Cabales Serrada System of Escrima; Great Grandmaster Angel
Cabales. I suggest that you do the same thing. It's very admirable
that you have so much loyalty towards Mr. Vincent Cabales Sr. & Jr.,
however, by choice many of us within the Serrada Escrima community
do not share in your personal loyalty that you have toward these two
persons. I did not study Serrada Escrima under Mr. Vincent Cabales
Sr., and you did not study Serrada Escrima under GGM Angel Cabales
as I did, so obviously our loyalties are diametrically opposed. In
conclusion, I would suggest that if you plan to continue to
represent Mr. Vincent Cabales Sr.'s best interest, that you first
acquire some type of official rank under him, and also, his
permission to represent him as well. Finally, just as a suggestion,
you might want to allow Mr. Vincent Cabales Sr. to speak in his own
behalf for now on. As far as my stand concernig the " Grandmaster
title " again re-read my " Declaration Of Independence letter ". Mr.
Servaes until you have acquired some type of legitimate
documentation of instructor rank in the art of Serrada Escrima, I
personally will not recognize you as an authentic agent or
representative of GGM Angel Cabales' art form. Mr. Servaes, you have
already caused enough trouble and damage within the world of Serrada
Escrima, dont you think that it is time that you desist from this
type of mischievous behavior?
