Re: latest FMA digest and it's primary and latest contributor

Guro Ben I meant to respond to this sooner, but I've been verrry busy.
I think our efforts of helping GM have paid off already in ways we may not even realize, and also ways we KNOW have paid off. Most of us were in situations that were life threatening and walked away from it. You, me and Master Gabe each one of us have been SURPRISE ATTACKED by knives and easily DEFEATED our attackers. I don't know how many times I walked away from something which years earlier I would have scared or threatened, but not now. I appreciate the time GM used to spend with us late - sometimes until 3 a.m. or later going over the Advanced Stuff. I appreciate Master Gabe taking time out to work out with each of us so patiently until we got it. Master Gabe helped out for years like that. Guro Tony used to be there helping too. Guro Ancel used to be respectful and helpful.  Master Vincent Jr. used to spend hours working out with me during the day also. Whenever Tony was there his charisma and compassionate personality made my work-out more fun. Tony seldom had a bad word to say about anyone, or he kept it to himself. However, he told me in detail about the time Master Jimmy Tacosa, got his Master Degree advancement. That day Jimmy wanted to know if he would one day be able to be the GM of Serrada, and Angel was angry, and said "NO" that his son Vincent would inherit the art. Jimmy's girlfriend asked, "Who is best Vincent or Jimmy?" Jimmy was very good, but Vincent trained differently. Serrada isn't intended to have contests between one another with, because it is a deadly fighting art and science, besides Vincent trained the family way and Jimmy trained the Curriculum way.
The article mentioned SOME of the people that support GM, but this art is global so it would be presumptuous to say that those few names mentioned are the only ones supporting GM. I think most of the people that are actively helping were mentioned.
I think most of us whether affiliated with GM or not, have come to the same conclusion: we should focus on not being negative towards others in Serrada, and put our efforts instead on making the world a better place with Serrada.
I am planning to write more articles for FMA Digest and Inside Kung Fu soon.
Train hard and have fun!
Dennis

Guru Dennis was right.. GM Vincent Sr, Master Vincent Jr, Master
Stanley, Master Gabriel, Guru Tony (God rest his soul), Guru Dennis,
and I worked out many hours at the Cabales Serrada School in Stockton
and also at Tony's Karate School in the even later hours. Guru Tony
stated while he was still alive, that GM Angel (God rest his soul)
told him that Vincent would be the inheritor of the art.

Guru Tony along with the above listed instructors supported GM
Vincent Sr. by showing up for class training with the advanced and
help teach junior students. Guru Tony was a very charismatic,
articulate, and generally a nice person who is missed by all.

Be safe and take care,
