When you go to MRM (it was Valley Hi when I lived there) and get off at the Rt 33 exit, instead of going right into the MRM driveway, go straight up the hill in front of you. This is called Corkscrew Hill, and used to be used every year for the SCCA Solo I races (aka hill climb.) Cars would come from all over the midwest to race there, and I've sat off the roadside watching them come by dozens of times.

there was an article or a repro of a poster on this as part of the OVR 50th anniversary issue. Ted Vedrinski was filling the role of club historian, but since Ted passed away I am not sure who is doing it now and who might have info on this.

 

I found this much info on an autocross forum. It seems as though OVR should know something!
