Hi all -
Congratulations to everyone (esp. bike marshals) on fabulous job on the Golden Apple! 
As I was marshaling, I was jealous of the riders but cognizant that in order to do the things we love to do, others have to volunteer to help out as often as possible.

So I'm hoping you all can volunteer at another local event that needs your stellar help - the Westchester Toughman Triathlon, Sunday, Sept. 13  I'm the Volunteer Captain and I especially need standing bike marshals on our route through Northern Westchester:

All it takes is a few hours of your time on Sunday morning (8-1 or 9-12, depending upon where you're stationed along the course) and you can even ride your bike to your station to avoid cycle envy.  You'll get a free Zoot t-shirt, BBQ and party at Croton Point Park and the satisfaction that you've helped your fellow cyclists and triathletes. 

If you'd prefer an earlier or later volunteer post, we're happy to accomodate you on the swim or run.
