Re: [WCCTriathlon] Queens Biathlon

Hi Susan,

you are right, the bike course is on the parkways and consists of two loops marked by cones. You must ride on the right lane as the center lane is reserved for official and emergency vehicles.  The course is essentially flat.
The runs are of the out-and-back kind.  They both start with a fairly steep downhill and, of course, end with a fairly steep uphill (less than a quarter mile). Except for the up and down parts, the run is on a nice path with no motorized traffic whatsoever.

To Tri/Bi Members:

I'm thinking of doing the Queens Bi on May 16th.  Most of the bike
course seems to be on the Grand Central Parkway and Cross Island
Parkway.  Would be interested in any feedback/comments/advice on the
course.

Thank you!
Susan Chan
