Lots of paces. On both Saturday and Sunday multiple groups go
out. The friendlier of them is the earlier 8am group of folks with WCC Road
Runners. Lots of different paces and distances. I tend to go out earlier
because I like to be back home by about 10:30am to spend the day working or
with friends, so I usually start running at 7am. I’m definitely in winter
shape and focusing on my riding so I’m probably running around 8:00-9:00
min/miles around Rockies right now. Usually I show up on Sundays with dead
legs, wondering why I don’t just stick to what the lord gave me, which
was running fast over middle distances. I save the 6-min miles for the fall.
Oh and I strongly recommend the Boston Build-up series which
begins January 6th with the 10K, and the Taconic Freezer 5’s
(a 5K and a 5-miler).
You’ll meet a lot of triathletes of varying abilities at
both of those series.
Like I said, behind, So Cal, NorCal, Boulder and Austin,
Westchester is a pretty great place to live the triathlon life.

I actually was more worried/interested in the running paces, at the
Sunday rockies runs and the bricks - do people split off into
different pace groups?
