Hi Glenn
There is no great route to do this. What I have done is take the train to
125th Street and ride down Park Avenue to about 115th or 116th (I don't
remember which runs west), then south on Fifth Avenue to 110th Street and
ride around Central Park for a few laps. Its closed to car traffic all
weekend. Then take fifth downtown. If you must ride all the way from
Westchester, take the Broadway bridge from the Bronx and continue down to
Central Park. In my opinion, this is a risky ride due to the traffic in
upper Manhattan. Watch out for those Livery cabs!

Subject: [wccchataboutcycling] Route from Dobbs Ferry to Manhattan?
I want to ride into Manhattan this weekend from Dobbs Ferry. Does
anyone have route suggestions? I'm going to Sid's Bike Shop, at 235
East 34th St. (between 2nd and 3rd Aves.)
Thanks.
