Re: Fling cue sheet

Dear Josh, Adrienne, Gail and anyone else confused by the absence of
Fling links on the website,

I can't address why the links are no longer on the website, or why
the cue sheet temporarily disappeared, but at least you as members of
the club can access the cue sheet in the library. I do feel bad for
any non-members or new members who have questions about the Flings--
especially directions-- and can't navigate easily to the
information.

Here are the SUNY Directions:

On the SUNY Purchase campus
From Anderson Hill Road, turn into the SUNY entrance. Turn left onto
the SUNY loop. Parking lot W1 is approximately one mile ahead on the
right. It's the first lot with a guard house at the entrance.

From the south, take the Hutchinson Parkway to the Lincoln Avenue
exit. Follow Lincoln Ave. northbound. Turn right at a T intersection
onto Anderson Hill Road. The SUNY entrance is one block ahead.

From the White Plains area, you can take Anderson Hill Road directly
to the SUNY entrance.

From the north, take I-684 to Exit 2 at the Westchester County
Airport. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp, then right at the
traffic light onto Route 120. Turn left where the road narrows to
remain on Route 120. Follow Route 120 to the first traffic light.
Turn left there onto Anderson Hill Road.

Needless to say the Flings themselves are intact. The Wednesday
rides continue through August and the Friday Flings have moved to
SUNY Purchase. Please remember to park towards the front of Lot 1
and do not block a metered space. There is a 15 mile "D" cue sheet
but you need to be a strong and experienced D rider. All rides start
at 6 PM sharp. Don't worry about cue sheets. The leader will have
some. I don't work near a computer and am not reachable by phone on
Fridays, so please don't leave messages late Thursday or Fridays. I
won't be able to answer these inquiries in time.

Don't let the confusion deter you. Come out and Fling!

Roz
