Stewart's closed back in January or February. The owner said Bedford
couldn't support his business. (If you want to see him, he's working
as a butcher at Whole Foods in White Plains). He was always nice to
cyclists. He said you might see something like a Starbuck's there
eventually. Right across 22 there's a small mall with an upscale
bakery/deli open on Sunday. They have muffins, readymade
half/sandwiches and drinks--no bathroom. About 3/4 mile down the
road, the Food Emporium makes good sandwiches and has bathrooms
upstairs. On Saturdays, you can get a great triple decker sandwich
on homemade bread at the bakery in same shopping center.

PS. If you use the facilities at the Bedford Village Library, leave
some change. They've been good to us too.
