Thank you to everyone who has responded. I have learned quite a bit about shimmy, nutation, and other forces exerted on a bike since yesterday afternoon. It is a five month old full ti bike (carbon fork), and I will bring it in to be checked out, but on initial inspection it all looked in order. It was cold and windy, so that along with the rapid downhill (Rt. 22 heading south toward Cox), could have done it. The one item I want to be sure about is the carbon fork alignment, per the Calfee findings.
