Kevan,
I
Three years ago I worked on a swap meet with the club
which resulted in only 2 tables worth of items.
Almost nothing was swapped or sold. So sad, for I too
thought a swap would be beneficial to all club
members.
I am not aware of an established bike collection
drive sponsored by the club, but recently found
Craigslist as a great tool for sales and swaps. I've
sold 2 bikes, including a 20 year old Peugeot for good
money and furniture too, thru their web site.
It is worth a shot to try it again since the club has
had quite a lot of turnover this year. It doesn't cost
the club any money to make a swap meet. Just make a
date, secure a free parking lot, and see who shows.

I'm not too sure how many club members participate on WCCChat, but I thought I would throw this idea out into our world and get some feedback. A bicycle and...
