Don't know about KMC chains, but I have been replacing my Shimano chains
with the SRAM hollow pin. Super strong and love the easily removable link
for cleaning.

I got a tune-up which included a new chain for my Dura-Ace 10. They
put on a KMC 10X rather than the Shimano 7801 that I had expected.
There's not much information out there on KMC chains vs. Shimano. I
like the inclusion of the special link on the KMC that makes it easy
to break the chain. However, it seems that the Shimano is narrower
and doesn't require trimming the front derailleur regardless of which
cog is selected in the rear.

Any opinions from you Shimano 10 riders on chains?
