Dear Cyclists,
I just went to a wonderful exhibit of Bicycle Poster Art down in
Chelsea. I urge anyone who loves bicycles to go see it. The posters
are originals, many from the 1800's. They will all be up for bid on
May 1, but even if you don't intend to own one, they are worth seeing.
Also, the Herlihy book, "Bicycle: the history" is a very good read
and accompaniment to the posters. Mr. Herlihy himself was there last
night and gave an interesting power-point talk on bicycle history.
