Vince,
This message can be ignored in the winter months. Basically it is an automated
message to remind
everyone we need to get leaders for the next month's ride schedule. The new
ride board will be
where you sign up.
See everyone in March when the riding season offically opens.

John,
Your approved. Let me know what you think. I still have some more work
to do, but this is the complete on-line ride signup system that will
really help keep the club ride coordinated.
Everyone should sign up and enter a ride or two.
The really neat thing is that we will be able to do things like this
automatically:
http://www.westchestercycleclub.org/rides/publicSchedule.php
No more out of date rides on the web site, or cancelled rides that you
don't know about.

There are several Cannondale models that list for under $1500, but they
may not have ultegra. These would be a pretty harse ride, as an all
Aluminum bike is pretty unforgiving. When you say Al/Carbon, do you mean
a Al bike with carbon seat stays, or other carbon bits, or simply an all
carbon bike like a Trek 5200? The Treks start new about 3200 or so, but
I heard of one yesterday that was for sale at $1600 with 105 (way to
small for you though).
Most full carbon bikes are going to be out of your price range. Also
62's are hard to come by, not a popular size. I would suggest getting a
new bike if you can find the right size, as a used 62 will be very rare.

Garnet Hill, NY - Lake Placid, NY and Prospect,VT are open with wonderful
mid-winter type conditions right now. I've been at Garnet the last 3 weekends
and they expect to have their entire trail network, 60k open by this weekend,
Hovenberg is fully operational and Prospect has 30k open with a 12-25" base.
Not bad for early December and a far cry from last year!

Request for A rides
Date: Sunday, December 1, 2002
Time: All Day
It's that time of month again. Time to sign up for next month's
A rides. First come first served.
We're looking to create another slide show of fun cycling photos from
different club rides/events throughout the year. This is always a fun
addition to the holiday party.
Chris Reyling has volunteered to help put the slide show together.
If you've got photos that you'd like to submit, please send a note to
Chris: creyling@... or give him a call 914-428-9878.
Deadline Dec 13th!
> The same as "Gate House"?
Yes, I think Gate House is the official term. The bridge was actually
opened in September. I lead the Hillier than Thou over it, but I forgot
to tell the group. Thanks to Chris for bringing it up.
