Subject: WCC Inquiry from Elena Remais
Hi all,
I am an avid cyclist and member of WCC (training for a 100 mile bike
race in Lake Tahoe for team in Training) but I'm also a yoga teacher.
I am doing a workshop on Recovery Yoga for Cyclists on May 20th
RECOVERY YOGA is a combination of breathe with movement and light
stretches, plus Restorative Yoga or using cushions and blankets and
staying in poses that allow you to release (with an emphasis on the
muscle areas used for cycling) and let gravity do the work.
THE WORKSHOP
The Workshop is Sunday May 20th from 2-3:45pm at YogaWorks in
Irvington. It's timed to be for cyclists after a ride, since most
cyclists start early in the morning and finish around lunchtime.
The Beginner or Novice is more than welcome as all poses will be basic
and will suit your abilities. If you have a very tight muscles, then
this is for you! You go to your own abilities.
Class Costs $20.
All PROCEEDS go to the LEUKEMIA AND LYMPHOMA Society. Feel good
PHYSICALLY as well as SPIRITUALLY because your money is going towards
Leukemia and Lymphoma Research and also to support families that are
suffering.
Also if any of you care to donate additionally to this worthy cause,
here is my donation link:
