Fellows. I am sending this to you as I know that you will want to send up as much good karma today Tuesday as you can. We are all so fortunate to be playing at over 35 on beyond, with our bandages, knee supports, Ipruprophen, and all the other stuff that keeps us going. We may be scattered across the world right now, but spare a thought for one of our fellow players who was at the beginning of his career, and his adult life. Please read on ... Bev Nash
Gentlemen, this past Saturday a Longwood, VA, player took a serious head
injury during match play. He took to the sidelines to rest and
returned to the game momentarily, then he left the pitch only to lose
consciousness. He was then airlifted the a hospital in Richmond where
emergency brain surgery was performed. They think the worst of his
condition and the referees society emailed me this. Read and
consider.

The team and the Longwood community are having a candlelight vigil
Tuesday, March 4th at 8pm on our 1st Avenue Pitch here in
Farmville. Wear your club colors. This includes Mens, Women's, and all
Collegiate. What would it mean to you if it were your teammate.
And keep praying.
Thanks, CFS
