Well i started Uni over here yesterday and so far all is going well.
I have 3 8am starts which sux a bit coz its still dark at 9am when
the class is over! but the subjects are good. Intro to sports injury,
Motor learning, Stats, something else, gymnastics and hockey! hockey
will be interesting! 'Serge' the intructor said that you dont really
need prior skills,.....but 75% of our mark is based on skill
performance... so we'll see how i go...

I moved from Robs parents place to International House last weekend.
It is fun so far. Although its not too international, ive only met
canadians thus far, but they are really nice. Its a bit of a shock
having to cook for my self againg, coz ive been so spoiled lately,
but o well.

Ive been on two snowboarding trips so far. Once to Fernie, and once
to Lake Louise. So amazing. Awesome slopes to ride on and the
mountains are soooooooooooo pretty.

Basically all is well, im cold, but having heaps of fun. Every one
Ive met is really nice. Robs friends are great, so even when he comes
back to Oz ill still know a whole bunch of ppl.

I bought a 'cell' phone. so u can msg me if you want. THe number is
780 270 1410... but im sure there is like a country code or something
you have to put first. Or my old mobile still works here, i just
never really check it..

Hope all is well with who ever is reading this.

Love lots, KIm

So girlies, i don't know what the update on the BBQs is, but as i was
one of those who had planned on being at the pub for new years, i am
now wondering what else i could do... i would still like to go to the
North Gong... is anyone else looking for something to do?
i'd pretty much palmed off my other options to cook sausages with you
fine young lassies, but am now stranded :(
so to all of you who will still be within the Wollongong borders
(which isn't many, i guess) let me know what you're up to for the big
NYE night...

Love you all, and see you soon,

Love Abby

Hi guys.

All NG BBQs have been taken over by another team due to our lack of personnel. So happy Holidays to all...

I have spoken to Tony, the Vikings president - he has shead some hope on a dim situation stating that if we can genrate the numbers, the club will cover all costs for the season bar our individual player fees (still the cheapest in the Illawarra, like $140 pp).

SO - everybody spread the word... And I'll do some advertising stuff when I get back from the States...

I'd appreaciate some help if you can lend a hand to the cause...

Have a FANTASTIC christmas and NYE...

Miss you all - we will plan a team meeting mid Janurary and double it up with a night out :)

Ok guys - welp...

Unfortunatley - we are only hours away from the official folding of
the Wollongong Vikings Women's Rugby Team...

It's a huge loss, and very dissapointing... But the team simply
can't exist without hands on deck to run it.

We have not had enough volunteers to help on the BBQs in order to
generate the funds to carry the team through next year.

This also means the folding of the Illawarra Women's team - which
last year cost approx $6000 ALONE to function... You see without the
BBQ money it really can't be done - coz as it was we each paid like
$200.

Unless there is a flood of ppl calling me btwn now and 8pm to help
on BBQs an management of the team next year... The side will
tomorrow be only history...

Ok so I didn't actually do that but I thought it would catch your
attention. Anyhow jst thought I'd write something to all my fellow
rugbians.

First of all A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THOSE WHO GRADUATED LAST
WEEK FROM UNI - we did it guys, now for the big world of full time
work!!

Secondly, for all those not spending Christmas or New Years in the
area of Sydney or Wollongong I hope you have a good old time running
a muck, singing Christmas Carols and drinking bubbly to bring in the
New 2007!!! (It seems that everyone has the travelling bug this time
around)

What else can I say:

The rugby 7's tournament sounds like a great idea but unfortunatly
i'll have other plans such as my 21'ST BIRTHDAY BASH. Hopefully if
all goes to plan it will be held on the 10th or 17th of Feburary, so
even if you can't drink with me the whole night, a pop around for
one will do, WATCH THIS SPACE AND THE SCREEN OF YOUR MOBILE FOR MORE
UPCOMING NEWS ON THE MATTER.

As to not make this posting any longer I say see you later, but if
anyone is interested I will be having dinner/drinks at the NEW
TOWRADGI BEACH HOTEL (beside Waves nightclub) this Friday night if
anyone is interested! And maybe going to Collies just to show a bit
of club loyalty if anyone else wants to as well!!!

See ya all around the traps!!!!!!

Hi there all,

If you hadn't noticed, i am now out of the state and residing (temporarily) in
Traralgon, which is about 2 hours east of melbourne, yes, in victoria. and yes,
with the parental unit.

All is well, for those who care. already i am missing everyone loads. If
anyone wishes to visit they are always welcome, as long as i am here. my parents
place is fondly referred to as "Robertson Resort" by those who stay. And it
safely sums up the experience.

Stay well, stay fit and commit yourself to the social life!

Hello!!!

Just a quick reminder that Viking's xmas drinks are on at Collies this
Friday night (see club website for details). I can't go as I'll be up the
coast (Spero, I'll see you there). But it would be good if a few of you
could organise yourselves to make an appearance. I know its a busy time of
year, so if not then not. Just thought I'd mention it.

If I don't get a chance to say so, everyone have a great xmas. And ,lets
meet up early in the new year to have a pow-wow about the future of the
team.

Love Jess

PS 7's makes me v v excited!!!

Hay guys,

Who is planning to go to Bathurst Mel's house warming?? I was thinking about going to the blue mountains on Friday than heading to Bathurst on Sat after a short walk.. Anyone interested?? Or ares ya's just heading out there??

Obviously I bought some new camping gear on the weekend and am quite excited to get it out. But if this is just in Mel's backyard, thats cool.

Vic

Ummm. you know how I said I was 80%... well, now I'm zero %. Have to work
tonight. I sux... but this is not news. Also... I spilled water on my
phone which apparently is bad for them. I've got a friends old one, but and
have lost a heap of numbers.

Sorry to be lame... but I am poor.

Later dudes. Have a great night/day recovery.

So i know this is going back a few emails, but i'm up for organising
the New Years Eve BBQ, but at this stage - well judging from the poll
anyway, i'm the only one going... what do i have to do to convince
people that a NYE with me will be the best thing since spray on
condoms?? or should i stick with sliced bread??
anyways, let me know what's involved with the role of chief sausage
biatch ;)... and i guess i'll see most of you at either Vic's, the
North Gong or Oz Tag in the not too distant future... Was thinking
about spending my Sunday arvo out the back of the North Gong if
anybody is interested in joining me.

Abs

So Hides, i'm up for that offer of a late night lift... however i will be around
the shire (i think) - i have a 21st in Menai that night, but am happy to come up
with you in the car, if you wouldn't mind meeting me at sutho train station or
something?
Then for the next day, i may have to scab a lift back with Jess, the sunday
morning working girl, if that's okay? Got plans on sunday arvo ;)... i know that
doesn't leave much time to squeeze in at vic's, but hey, i'm willing to
sacrifice sleep to hang out with you lovely ladies!

Everyone can stay at my house on any night - so just come along and we will sort something. I'm excited for our BBQ and we are close to the beach for a swim or next day recovery.

Hope some of you guys can come so I can prove I have friends.... We are putting a wading pool in the backyard and hopefully a volley ball court.. I will get food and some beer and stuff but if you want anything else bring it along.

All welcome - I lost some of your numbers in the phone transfer - but my new number is 0412012264, so give us a buzz.I have no reception at work though.

Well, I'm underground today - so back to the sewer...

Vic :) (don't worry i'll shower several times before the weekend).

Vic, I'm 80% sure I'm good to come to the gala event of the year...
althoughI was wondering if there is a bit of floor space for me to curl up
on for the purpose of sobering up and getting to work in the gong at 10/11am
the next day??? Otherwise it'll be a dry event AGAIN... and won't be able
to redeem myself to you, Nic and Heidi after cleaning poo and feeling like
poo and hence not coming out last Saturday night.

Basically I'm in as long as work goes according to plan.

				 Jess

PS what's this about Katelin and a CD launch??? More information PLEASE.

Congrats on the job Heids!!! I'll miss you. I doubt anyone will realise

Hey ladies,

Attached is the Monash womens office bearer roles, it takes 5 mins to read
and it would be a good idea for you all to have a look to get an idea of
what you might want to do when it comes to setting up your own committee.
Cool, cool!
