As always I would love to see the team
back up and running! If I can suggest one thing that you should probably do as
you first step is put together a committee with one goal in mind…recruitment!!
If you can get a group of 4 or 5 together and start postering the gong, in
particular the uni you will be amazed at the response you get! Seriously, we
did it once, it can be done again. Start small and build up, but you cant just
email the yahoo group and hope to get enough players, you really need to start
branching out! Even talk to Mark at the North Gong, he will let you put posters
up there…
If we can get a team together in Melbourne, you ladies can
most definitely do it in the gong!!!
I have some posters that I made of our
team down here that you can pretty easily change the name and number on and use…if
you would like them let me know.

well girls, the responces haven't been brilliant.
I'm puttin it out there early, we need serious dedication if this team is
gunna get up and running again. From what I gather, ppl want to play but they
want an already developed team to sub into. I can tell you now that's not
gonna happen but we can get close to it if we start getting a team organised.
So don't just start thinking about it, get girls
interested and when we get at least 10 we might have a hope for the new
season and start looking for a coach, prelim. training etc... Keep posting if
your interested and lets get excited. Rugby!

And, This wednesday there is High school girls semi finals at vikings. Bomaderry
v's Mitchell high school. The game starts at 12. Can anyone
get out there early and talk to these girls? I've gotta work so i don't have
